ABOUT THE ROLE

Mini Job (x2 0.5 days per week) 12 month FTC - Home Based

The Eakin Healthcare Clinical Service Nurse provides clinical support to our sales and marketing activities:

  1. Providing advice to ostomy patients prior shipment of sample requests and follow up calls 2 weeks after shipment
  2. Sample order entry in SAGE
  3. Patient register with follow up details

The commercial success of the company is heavily dependent on the reputation of the service provided, the relationships built with patients and health care professionals and growing NPI with successful conversion.
The role requires a high degree of clinical knowledge of ostomy, knowledge about the German Homecare market (Ostomy) good organisational / record-keeping and commercial thinking. This role is to make sampling as efficient as possible and to increase (new) patient capture and to increase (commercial) success in Germany

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

Clinical

  • Manage sample orders
  • Advise patient as to which is the right product the patient needs as a sample. Where will the patient get the product after sampling.
  • Follow up calls to patients after sampling
  • Liaise with Eakin Healthcare Clinical Advisor or Area Sales Managers where necessary

Commercial

  • Promote Eakin Healthcare products to consumers
  • Sample orders in Sage
  • Create and maintain reporting register
  • Keep up to date with relevant products available within the German market
  • Provide feedback to line manager and to relevant teams within Eakin Healthcare – Marketing, Insights, R&D, and other relevant teams

KEY SKILLS

Essential

  • Registered Nurse Qualification
  • Stoma or colorectal nursing background (preferably >2 years)
  • Wound nursing background preferable not mandatory
  • IT skills including Excel
  • Flexibility to meet patient and service needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in the community/HDC
  • Able to work remote from home
  • Able to accommodate administrative tasks

Desirable

  • Stoma care qualification
  • English
