Marketing Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting Directly to the Head of Marketing based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and working closely within a busy marketing team this is a key role working with the team providing marketing support across the business to continue the company’s success across global markets. The role demands interaction with a range of people both internally and externally in a fast-paced environment. The role is critical to implementing effective marketing strategies the company’s markets.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy for the business
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to meet agreed objectives
  • Assist in the development of the business’s brands nationally and international
  • Develop a range of collateral that will support our sales teams and distribution partners
  • Help to maintain a strong social media presence across our markets
  • Assist in the maintenance of our web presence
  • Monitor our market for opportunities and competitive risks by keeping up to date with relevant clinical research and assessing competitor activity
  • Prepare training for our own sales team and business partner sales teams on our positioning and messaging in each target market.
  • Work with sales managers and business development executives to understand current business performance and drive, plan and deliver marketing activities to achieve targets.
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of marketing budgets.
  • Assist with market analysis, customer analysis and competitor analysis.
  • Assisting in the organisation, running and follow-up of conferences, meetings and consumer experience days

KEY SKILLS

Essential

  • Educated to degree level in marketing or business
  • Proven experience in a marketing role within a business
  • Excellent verbal & written ability
  • Experience of managing the social media presence of a business
  • Experience of developing and executing marketing plans
  • Experience of producing a wide range of marketing collateral
  • Willingness to undertake some international travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written ability.
  • Access to transport

Desirable

  • Experience of marketing within a manufacturing business
  • Experience of marketing pharmaceutical or medical products
  • Experience of international marketing
  • Successful project manager who has been able to deliver cross functional projects on time
  • 2nd language ability
