ABOUT THE ROLE
The Eakin R&D Strategic Innovation Team works within speciality areas aligned to the EHG core business activities with a remit to shape the future direction and feed the development pipeline to ensure sustainable growth in ostomy for the Eakin Healthcare Group (EHG).
Reporting to the Director of Innovation, the role combines technical and commercial aspects with the post holder leading activities to understand and define strategic market opportunities through market landscaping and stakeholder research, exploration, and evaluation technology approaches, defining early-stage solutions and building business cases to justify product development activities. The role will work closely and collaboratively with other member of the Strategic Innovation Team, Eakin R&D, T.G. Eakin, and Pelican Healthcare.
The successful candidate is likely to have worked the ostomy care market, either directly in a front end / strategic marketing role or in a consultancy capacity and must have demonstrable experience of developing, managing, and delivering evidence-based projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams to translate primary and secondary research into tangible development opportunities.
